Is he still on dating apps? What you can actually find out
Short answer
No tool can see inside Tinder, Hinge or Bumble accounts. What you can check legitimately: public profile pages (some apps publish them), photos of him that appear on dating-profile pages online, and usernames he uses elsewhere. The most reliable answer still comes from a direct conversation.
First, what is not possible
Dating apps do not publish who has an account, and no legitimate service can log in to an app, see when someone was last active, or read their messages. Services that claim to "see his secret Tinder activity" are either misleading you or doing something that breaks the app's terms and possibly the law. Do not give anyone his password, and do not log in to his phone or accounts; in many states that is a crime.
Search his public profiles
Private search. They are never notified.
Legitimate ways to check
Public dating profile pages. Some apps let users publish a public web page (for example, Tinder usernames at tinder.com/@username). A web search for his photos or usernames sometimes surfaces these if they are public.
Reverse image search his photos. Use the photos he uses on social media. Results that point to a dating site are worth noting, though they may be old.
Username search. People reuse usernames. Our free username search tool builds links to check one handle across 25+ sites.
A public people search. TrueSearch compiles public profiles, photos and usernames tied to a name and can flag possible public dating-profile matches when they are indexed. A match is a lead to ask about, not proof.
An old dating profile is very common: most people never delete their accounts, they just stop opening the app. Finding a profile does not tell you when he last used it.
If you find something
Before you confront him, write down exactly what you found and when. Ask a calm, specific question ("I saw a profile with your photos on X, is that old?") rather than an accusation. Watch for the reaction more than the answer: a real explanation usually comes with an offer to show you, while defensiveness and turning it around on you are both worth noticing.

Questions
Can I see if my boyfriend is active on Tinder?
Not legitimately. Apps do not publish activity. You can look for public profile pages and photos that are indexed online, but "last active" information is private to the app.
Is it legal to check if my partner is on dating apps?
Searching public information is legal. Logging in to his accounts, installing tracking apps on his phone, or using his passwords is not, and can be a crime.
Does an old profile mean he is cheating?
Not by itself. Many profiles are leftovers from before a relationship. Use it as a reason to talk, not as proof.
Know who you are talking to
Search a name or phone number to see public profiles and photos before you meet.
